Syncrolite News : Aerosmith

Veteran lighting designer Jim Chapman first used Syncrolite SX7K and SX3K’s with Aerosmith at the RFK Stadium “Concert for New York” this past October 2001.  He added 18 SX3K’s to the massive digital video shoots staged in January at the Staple Center in LA and the San Diego Sports Center.  Jim used the 3K’s in a ground mount configuration ringing the grandstands of both arenas.  Syncrolite tech George Keim put the system in and the results were very pleasing.  Jim has told us that this shoot will be one  of our best demos for the system ever due to the unique camera work and creative use in virtually every shot.  We are looking forward to our next show with Aerosmith and Jim this month in LA for the MTV Icons Special currently in production at Sony Studios in LA.  Also working on the MTV project are Alan Branton and Michael Goodwin of Falcon Productions.
