Syncrolite News : TAJIN

Syncrolite was pleased to return to Mexico at the invitation of Yves Pepin and ECA2 of Franceto light the Mayan pyramids at the vernal equinox.  A beautiful and ancient story told with light and sound provides an annual rite of passage for new age types who congregate to celebrate the advent of spring at special places around the world - such as Stonehenge, the Pyramids and Tajin. The mystical show highlights the ancient history of Mexico with visual images, sound, light and colors on a grand scale using the pyramids and jungle as the canvas.  Tajin is a ruins that is located south of Veracruz, Mexico inland from the coast and is a relatively recent discovery.  Syncrolite Sr. tech Olaf Pottcher worked with ECA2’s Cani, Steph, Carolina and company in between segments of the Rolling Stones Tour.  We are expecting a video of the show to be released that captures the amazing look of this great event because still pictures, however great, cannot show the full impact.  Mr. Pepin used 12 SX7K and 10 SX3K skylights in a very effective placement as backlight and sky beams around the pyramids…with his array of PIGI projectors and other lighting instruments to create another masterpiece.
