Theatrical Mounting Options

Syncrolites are designed to mount to standard 20.5" or 12" truss via four 2" half couplers. A safety is provided with each unit. Ballasts are on the ground in individual cases or racks and may be placed up to 250’ from a 3K lamphead or 200’ from a 7K lamphead. Minimum 40” centers for mounting SX3-5K, 45” centers for SX8-10K.

Syncrolites may be ground mounted to an available ground mount base, which connects via four industry standard 2" half couplers. Ballasts may be placed close to or away from lampheads in individual units or racks.

For certain stadium applications it is desirable to ground mount the SX series unit with a 30-45o forward rake. This allows light cues at a more acute downward angle to cover all of a performance area and still retain the ability to do beam effects and ballyhoos in the sky. SXs mount via four industry standard 2" half couplers. Ballasts may be placed close to or away from lampheads in individual units or racks.

In addition to utilizing the standard half-couplers for mounting, lampheads may be directly bolted to surfaces using appropriate 3/8” bolts through the four reinforced mounting holes in the electronics box assembly. These holes can also be used for mounting steel core rubber feet for ground mount applications. Lampheads may also be mounted to the Universal Base Frame along with the ballast or with the “W” package all-weather electronics box shroud and baseplate.
